We’re excited to be taking The Verge’s gadget blog, Circuit Breaker, and Polygon’s flagship podcast, The Polygon Show, to the next level, with two new weekly live streaming video shows premiering exclusively on Twitter this Fall.
Fans can watch live on Twitter every week at circuitbreaker.twitter.com or @CircuitBreaker and @Polygon, and join in the conversation with #CircuitBreakerLive and #PolygonShow. The streams for each program will be available globally on Twitter and connected devices. Each stream will also be accompanied by a Twitter timeline, featuring the related real-time conversation.
Launching today, The Verge’s Circuit Breaker will stream live every Tuesday at 4pm ET, and will review and experiment with the hottest gadgets everyone wants right now, and the weirdest ones we’ll want tomorrow. The hour-long episodes will be hosted by The Verge's Editor in Chief Nilay Patel and the Circuit Breaker team of Paul Miller, Jake Kastrenakes, Ashley Carman, and Chaim Gartenberg. Circuit Breaker will combine the same familiar banter of the blog with an inside look at hot new gadgets, flagship device reviews and helpful explainers live from Vox Media’s NYC studio.
Polygon’s signature podcast The Polygon Show, makes its live video debut on October 12, exclusively on Twitter. Airing each Thursday at 5pmET, The Polygon Show is hosted by Polygon’s Chelsea Stark, Allegra Frank, Simone de Rochefort, and Ashley Oh. The roundtable talk show will take a deep (and often irreverent) dive into all things gaming and culture — and for the first time will make its audience a key part of the conversation by incorporating questions, tweets, and even fan art live on air.
Tune in to Circuit Breaker each Tuesday and catch the first live episode of The Polygon Show next Thursday, only on Twitter.
