Today Vox Media’s brands were nominated for twelve National Magazine Awards from the American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME). New York Magazine secured nine spanning the general excellence, design, feature design, feature photography, website, leisure interests, reporting, and profile writing categories. The Verge’s Casey Newton earned nominations in the reporting category for his reporting on the traumatic working conditions of Facebook content moderators in America. Vox was nominated in the website category, as well as in the feature design category for its project on Supertrees produced in partnership with the Pulitzer Center.
