Polygon partners with ReedPOP for New York Comic Con x MCM Comic Con’s Metaverse, Oct. 8-11

As an official media partner, Polygon will bring programming that celebrates the diverse communities, weird fandoms, popular franchises, and undiscovered talent that shape pop culture

Polygon, Vox Media’s modern entertainment brand, today announced it will team up with ReedPOP for New York Comic Con x MCM Comic Con’s Metaverse, which will live-stream exclusively on YouTube from October 8-11. Creators from across Polygon’s network, including Senior Entertainment Editor Matt Patches, Comics Editor Susana Polo, and Video Producers Jenna Stoeber, Josh Rios, and Brian David Gilbert, will headline a slate of programming that showcases how online fandoms continue to define popular entertainment culture.

The Great Disaster hits! Polygon discovers the secrets of the Star Wars: The High Republic

Join the story architects of Star Wars: The High Republic as they introduce the heroes of a brand new saga, set centuries before the Skywalker saga, and reveal details of the central event that forever changes the galaxy far, far, away. Moderated by Polygon’s comics editor, Susana Polo, the panel features writers Claudia Gray, Charles Soule, Justina Ireland, Daniel José Older, and Cavan Scott, along with Lucasfilm Publishing creative director Michael Siglain.
