Subscribe to listen to Land of the Giants: The Google Empire hosted by Recode’s Shirin Ghaffary and Alex Kantrowitz, Founder of Big Technology.

Land of the Giants, Vox Media Podcast Network and Recode’s award winning narrative franchise, has launched its third season, The Google Empire, hosted by Recode’s senior reporter Shirin Ghaffary and Alex Kantrowitz, founder of Big Technology. The new season tells the inside story of the company’s great innovations, its battles with fellow tech giants, and how it’s grappling with organizing the world’s information.

The seven-episode series will explore how Google—a company that began with idealistic goals of creative experimentation and making useful products—has evolved into a worldwide power with an enormous impact on the way we live. It’s dominance in search engines and online advertising as well as its platforms—YouTube and Android—give it tremendous power and responsibility.

The first episode of the show was published today and will continue weekly every Tuesday. Listen to the first episode here and subscribe on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts to receive new episodes automatically. Season three of Land of the Giants is sponsored by Yext.
