The Dodo Premieres an Inside Look at Willow’s First White House Christmas

Video Features First Lady Jill Biden, Willow, and the White House Holiday Décor

The Dodo, the #1 global digital publisher for pet and animal content [source: Tubular Labs, March 2022], today premiered a first look at Willow, the First Family’s cat, experiencing her first holiday season at the White House. The video features Willow exploring the 2022 White House holiday décor, seeing her first ‘snow’ of the season, and receiving an early Christmas gift from First Lady Jill Biden.

This holiday season, the First Lady’s White House décor captures the spirit embodied in the very idea of America: We the People. From the shining bells to the mirrored ornaments, it is the First Lady’s goal that every American sees themselves in the White House – including Willow!

Willow is a gray, short-haired tabby, who First Lady Jill Biden named after her hometown, Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. The Dodo previously premiered the first look at Willow’s life at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, following her journey from a farm in Pennsylvania to the White House. The two-year-old presidential pet made a lasting impression on Dr. Biden in 2020 when she jumped on stage and interrupted her remarks during a campaign stop.

The Dodo’s video continues the media brand’s commitment to creating original, family-inclusive content that influences the way we see pets as family and makes loving animals a mainstream cause.
