YouTube Personality Kenny Beecham Brings Flagship Podcast to Vox Media

Small Ball with Kenny Beecham (formerly The Kenny Beecham Podcast) will join Vox Media via a strategic partnership with Beecham’s media and lifestyle brand, Enjoy Basketball.

Vox Media and Enjoy Basketball today announced that YouTube star and NBA superfan  Kenny Beecham will bring his flagship show, Small Ball with Kenny Beecham (formerly The Kenny Beecham Podcast) to the Vox Media Podcast Network via a strategic partnership. On Small Ball, which provides year-round basketball coverage and publishes weekly on Fridays during the NBA season, Beecham will share his unique insights through game analysis, player stories, and more. Vox Media will assume sales, marketing, and distribution duties for the show, which is available on podcast and video platforms, and collaborate with Beecham on live event extensions and editorial crossovers with Vox Media brands like SB Nation.

“I’m excited to team up with Vox Media and take Small Ball to the next level,” says Beecham. “This partnership allows us to continue delivering great basketball content to our fans, with even more reach and resources. The show has grown so much since we started, and with this rebrand, I’m excited to see it evolve even more.”

Beecham is a sports content creator and entrepreneur, who has garnered a dedicated following of 4 million basketball enthusiasts across social media. In 2022, Beecham alongside Cole and Cody Hock co-founded the media and lifestyle brand, Enjoy Basketball, which aims to uplift the game through content and community. With 5 digital shows and podcasts under its umbrella, Enjoy Basketball has built a community of over 1 million fans across platforms and struck partnerships with Vox Media, Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions, and ESPN.

“Kenny’s deep knowledge and passion for the game have made his shows a go-to destination for millions of basketball fans. He’s a seasoned creator with incredible dedication and big ambitions,” says Vox Media’s executive director for the podcast business, Lillian Xu. “We have a lot of admiration for what he’s building over at Enjoy Basketball, and we’re excited to partner with him on the newly rebranded Small Ball so it can reach even greater heights.”

Small Ball marks an expansion of Vox Media’s sports programming, which includes shows like A Touch More: The Podcast (hosted by world champion athletes Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe), Not Just Football (hosted by Pittsburgh Steelers team captain and NFL “Man of the Year” Cam Heyward), and What an Experience (hosted by basketball star Lonzo Ball). Beecham joins a top 10 podcast network at Vox Media that’s home to some of the most influential talent across categories including journalist Kara Swisher and entrepreneur Scott Galloway (Pivot), psychotherapist Esther Perel (Where Should We Begin?), best-selling author and research professor Brené Brown (Unlocking Us), former Manhattan U.S. attorney Preet Bharara (Stay Tuned), tech reviewer Marques Brownlee (Waveform: The MKBHD Podcast), finance creator Vivian Tu (Networth & Chill) and more.
