Vivian Tu, New York Times Bestselling Author and Founder & CEO of Your Rich BFF, Joins Vox Media and PS in Podcast Partnership

Tu will bring her acclaimed business, money and finance podcast, Networth & Chill to Vox Media and PS, and join the PS Council as its first finance expert.

Vox Media today announced that Your Rich BFF founder and CEO, Vivian Tu, is joining Vox Media via a strategic partnership with wellness brand PS. Tu will bring her acclaimed business, money, and finance podcast, Networth & Chill, to Vox Media and PS, which will assume sales, marketing, and distribution for the show. She’ll also join the PS Council, which is the brand’s network of experts aimed at making health and wellness more inclusive and accessible. As the PS Council’s first finance expert, Tu will share her expertise with the PS community by collaborating with the brand on social content, and participating in special features.

With its new season launching on October 9th, each week on Networth & Chill, Tu will dive into the ups, downs, and downright ugly truths about building your best financial life. She’ll break down complicated topics like buying a home in today’s real estate market and how to start a business from ground zero, answer ultra taboo questions about wealth and money management, and bring on a roster of celebrity guests, finance experts, industry professionals to share their best tips and tricks. At Vox Media and PS, the podcast will expand to video, publishing full episodes and clips across platforms including Apple, Spotify, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.

“I’m really thrilled to bring back Networth & Chill for a second season and partner with Vox Media as well as join the PS council,” says Tu. “We have such an exciting season planned. I can’t wait for you all to go on this journey with me!”

On a global mission to make the financial industry less “male, pale, and stale,” Tu is a former Wall Street trader-turned-expert, educator, public speaker, host, entrepreneur, media powerhouse, and the founder and CEO of the financial equity phenomenon, “Your Rich BFF.” In January 2021, she developed and launched the “Your Rich BFF” blog and social media handles as a passion project to destigmatize and make the rules of personal finance accessible and digestible to non-experts and marginalized communities. Her dedication to promoting financial literacy and ability to bridge the gap between finance and the mainstream have earned her cross-platform fame and notoriety with over 6 million followers and counting, as well as honors on both the Forbes’ ‘30 Under 30 – Social Media’ (2023) and inaugural ‘Top Creators’ (2022) lists. She’s the author of the New York Times bestselling book, Rich AF: The Winning Money Mindset That Will Change Your Life.

“Vivian has built an incredible platform that welcomes and empowers millions to make smarter financial decisions every day. With Networth & Chill, she has created a space for transparent conversations about business and finance, offering insights with the same candor and relatability that audiences know and love,” says Vox Media’s executive director for the podcast business, Lillian Xu. “We couldn’t be more excited to partner with Vivian on her new season of Networth & Chill – this time, with video.”

“The PS audience considers financial wellness to be an integral piece of their overall wellness,” says Nancy Einhart, PS’s head of content. “By being radically honest about the traditionally taboo topic of money, Vivian Tu is an ideal partner for PS, where there’s no such thing as TMI.”

Tu joins a top 10 podcast network at Vox Media that’s home to some of the most influential talent across categories including world champion athletes Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe (A Touch More: The Podcast), journalist Kara Swisher and entrepreneur Scott Galloway (Pivot), research professor Brené Brown (Unlocking Us and Dare to Lead), tech reviewer Marques Brownlee (Waveform: The MKBHD Podcast), psychotherapist Esther Perel (Where Should We Begin?), former Manhattan U.S. attorney Preet Bharara (Stay Tuned), Pittsburgh Steelers team captain and reigning NFL “Man of the Year” Cam Heyward (Not Just Football), and more.

At PS, Tu joins a women’s lifestyle brand that’s committed to making wellness inclusive and accessible whether it’s through its thoughtful coverage of financial health, identity, and barriers that affect real people; its YouTube channel, which has long dominated the fitness space as the #1 source for free, at-home workouts; or its line of affordable fitness, sleep, and bath products.

The trailer for the new season of Networth & Chill is out today and available here, with the first episode to follow on Wednesday, October 9th. Follow the show on Apple, Spotify, or YouTube.
