Vox Media Receives 11 National Magazine Award Nominations, Honoring Eater, ‘New York’ Magazine, and The Verge

Vox Media received the most nominations of any media company.

Vox Media publications Eater (Stephanie Wu, editor-in-chief), New York (David Haskell, editor-in-chief), and The Verge (Nilay Patel, editor-in-chief) were today nominated for 11 National Magazine Awards from the American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME), the industry’s highest honor, recognizing work in written journalism, newsletters, photography, and design. Vox Media received the most nominations of any media company.

All three brands were nominated for multiple awards and for General Excellence in their respective categories. It is New York’s tenth consecutive nomination in General Excellence, and the magazine is tied for the most nominations of any publication, with seven.

Eater, New York, and The Verge each also had finalists in the ASME Awards for Design, Photography, and Illustration.

ASME will announce the award winners on Thursday, April 10.
