Vox Media Partners with Award-Winning Marketing Expert Seth Matlins on New Multi-Platform Media Franchise

The franchise will serve top marketing and business executives with new podcasts, series of live events, and more

Vox Media, the leading modern media company, has partnered with one of global marketing’s most influential voices Seth Matlins to launch a multi-platform franchise for business and marketing executives. Launching in early 2026, the partnership will include new video podcasts featuring conversations with top thought leaders in business and marketing as well as a series of live events throughout the year spanning multiday summits, workshops around key strategic imperatives, and intimate discussions and dinners.

Through the multi-platform franchise, Matlins will continue fostering and growing the community of top CMOs and executives that he has helped build over the past years. Vox Media will be responsible for podcast production, event production, sales, marketing, and distribution across platforms.

Matlins, who was most recently the managing director of the Forbes CMO Network, has worked for some of the world’s most influential culture-shaping organizations where his ideas have shaped brands, businesses, and the cultural landscape itself for over 30 years. He was previously the President of Rock the Vote and founded the marketing practice for Creative Artists Agency. He was  also the first Global CMO at Live Nation and was the Head of Cultural Strategy and Insights at Hollywood powerhouse Endeavor’s cultural marketing agency.

“Seth’s differentiated voice and approach makes him unique in his ability to convene top executives for candid, important conversations,” said Ray Chao, Vox Media’s senior vice president and general manager of podcasts. “We’re honored to partner with Seth for this one-of-a-kind franchise to bring audiences his insider’s take on marketing and his insights on how businesses can grow and succeed in these turbulent times.”

“The chance to partner with Vox Media and expand my work championing great marketing and marketers was one of those proverbial “too good to pass up” opportunities,” said Matlin. “Their expertise, scale, and proven track-record make building this new venture together the perfect next act in my career.”

At Vox Media, Matlins will join one of the largest U.S. podcast publishers, and an industry-leading slate of business and technology programming including Pivot (hosted by journalist Kara Swisher and entrepreneur Scott Galloway), Waveform: the MKBHD Podcast (hosted by YouTuber Marques Brownlee), Decoder (hosted by The Verge’s editor-in-chief Nilay Patel), Solutions (hosted by Business Insider co-founder Henry Blodget), Channels (hosted by journalist Peter Kafka), ACCESS (hosted by journalist Alex Heath and brand strategist Ellis Hamburger) and more.
