Vox Media publications The Cut (Lindsay Peoples, editor-in-chief), Eater (Stephanie Wu, editor-in-chief), New York (David Haskell, editor-in-chief), and The Verge (Nilay Patel, editor-in-chief) were today nominated for 12 National Magazine Awards from the American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME), the industry’s highest honor, recognizing work in written journalism, newsletters, photography, and design. With nine nominations, New York received the most of any publication. The winners will be announced on Tuesday, May 19.
New York and The Verge also received nominations for ASME Awards for Design, Photography and Illustration, six and four respectively. These winners will be announced on Thursday, April 9.
