Today, we are thrilled to announce that Ryan Pauley has been promoted from SVP of Business Operations and Strategy to the company’s Chief Revenue Officer.
“As an architect of our organization and strategy over the past eight years, Ryan is uniquely qualified to lead us forward,” said Jim Bankoff, CEO and Chairman, Vox Media. “He knows better than anyone how to leverage Vox Media’s premium quality scale and creative along with our technology and analytical strength to ensure continued success and growth for our clients and, in turn, our business. He’ll lead an immensely talented team that has consistently excelled through attention to client success, innovation and integrity.”
Most notably, Pauley led the 2016 conceptualization and launch of Concert, Vox Media’s premium ad marketplace. Since the launch, he has led Concert’s expansion to include partners such as Quartz, New York Media, PopSugar and Rolling Stone, and has led and driven new business and advertising strategies across the company.
In Pauley’s role as Chief Revenue Officer, he will lead a talented team, including two colleagues who will also take on new roles at Vox Media:
- Courtney Glaze has been promoted to Vice President of Revenue Operations. She will continue leading revenue strategy across solutions planning, inventory management, and revenue operations, while expanding her role to include ad operations and paid social.
- Regina Zaremba will, in addition to serving as Pauley’s Chief of Staff, take on responsibilities as Head of Operations at Vox Media. A newly appointed role, she will run the operational functions in the revenue organization, taking on training and enablement and special projects. Zaremba and Pauley have also worked hand-in-hand on Concert’s success to date.
Pauley will report to Vox Media CEO Jim Bankoff and be based in New York City.
