Join Vox Media at Advertising Week New York 2019

The modern media company remains laser-focused on driving conversations around earning consumer attention and reinforcing the value of brand purpose.

Last Monday, Vox Media hosted a Recode Media live event with our partners at Dentsu Aegis Network and 25 Kent to preview on topics we expect to dominate the stages this week.

Following opening remarks from our Chief Revenue Officer, Ryan Pauley, Vox Media Publisher, Melissa Bell spoke with Dirk Herbert, Chief Strategy Officer at Dentsu Aegis Network for a conversation on how to earn and keep consumer attention, brand purpose, and intersecting vs. interrupting what audiences are interested in to make a connection. Listen in here.

Guests then tuned in for a live recording of the Recode Media podcast hosted by Peter Kafka with guest Craig Newmark, Craigslist and Craig Newmark Philanthropies Founder where they discussed his unlikely career as a media mogul and how he’s actively giving away his fortune to fund philanthropic efforts to support journalism, military veterans, and pigeons – but mostly journalism. You can check out the episode here and learn more about the Vox Media Podcast Network at podcasts.voxmedia.com.

This week at Advertising Week New York, Vox Media executives will take the stage for more conversations focused on storytelling, brand purpose and earning consumer attention.
